Few places can offer the visitor a better opportunity to relax and unwind than the Outer Hebrides. The Outer Hebrides lie to the north west of mainland Scotland with Lewis, Harris, North and South Uist, Benbecula and Barra forming the main inhabited islands within this archipelago. The islands offer a spectacular mixture of landscapes, seascapes, archaeology, natural and cultural history. Our beautiful islands have become more accessible in recent years, with regular flights from Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh. Modern and faster ferries make inter-island travel very straightforward.
